Nice book & reader, I think the narrators voice is fine. But some of the color symbols on the reader are a little different from what's in the back. Also, the pages are thin paper so if you have a younger child you'll still need to assist them to avoid the pages getting ripped. All in all I like it as does my 3.5 year old.

My 3-year-old LOVES these books! He likes being able to follow along with the reader and he is already starting to recognize words. The pages are colorful and fun to look at, the reader is easy to for my little one to use, and each story is narrated well with added sound effects and music. Great alternative to TV!

My daughter is a HUGE Thomas Fan and she loves these books! She wasn't crazy about the reader thing at first but she loved reading the books. I love that you can but don't have to use the automated reader. She has gotten to where she likes the reader before she goes to sleep and after I have read a book or two with her. She told me "your good at picking my toys" while she was using these so I know they are a hit!

My grandson loves these books. The sounds are very good and distinct. Sometimes electronic books don't work well or are inconsistent. Not these though. My grandson listens to these every night since Christmas and they work just as well as day one. Really like and would highly recommend!

We love all the ereaders. My daughter takes a set to bed with her every night. She is 3 years old (she is reading some books independently) and loves audio books. These ereader sets are perfect because I don't have to worry about her handling cds.

I love the collection of books. My 2 year old wants to read them all over and over. He is just starting to be able to play the reader by himself although he doesn't quite know how to match up the book to the reader, but he can match the symbols on the pages and gets a little better every day. It's handy to occupy him while I am tending to my other infant son.

These are nice but they do not have the accented narrator that you hear on the Thomas the Train television show so it was kind of a bummer but the books are cute

This reader system is an excellent introduction to mini computers andPromotes reading by reading along with spoken word. 2nd system we own.
